Field Officers may be employed on a casual, fixed term or ongoing basis.

They work a variety of weekday and weekend hours, depending on the requirements of the Region they work in.

If employed on a casual basis, Field Officers receive an hourly rate of $20.56 plus 25% casual loading and any relevant penalty rates (including time and a half for Saturday work and double time for Sundays).

If employed on a fixed term or ongoing basis, Field Officers commence in line with the VPS 2 Salary range, currently $40,771 – $52,357.

Field Officers are subject to all employee entitlements of sick leave, annual leave and relevant penalties, as outlined in the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2009 (Extended and Varied version).
