To help you apply quickly and efficiently, Corrections Victoria uses an online application process. To apply as a Field Officer you must complete the online application form.
To complete the application form you will need:
- Personal email address
- Satisfy the requirements of the position
- Relevant references
- Resume – we’ve provided some tips on preparing your resume
You will be required to answer a number of questions about your offence history on your application form. If you have ever been charged with, or convicted of, any offence in Victoria or elsewhere in your lifetime, you must declare it on your application. A member of the Department of Justice’s Volume Recruitment and Projects Team will then contact you for a confidential discussion. This conversation must be had before your application can progress to the next stage – Suitability Assessment.
Please note: charges and convictions include criminal offences, intervention orders, bankruptcy notices, general arrest or summons procedures, juvenille offences, any suspension or cancellation of licence
